"Suite Habana" (Dir. Fernando Perez, 2003). is a very unusual, somewhat staged documentary that traces the lives of some dozen Habaneros in the early 21st century. Beautiful cinematography, the film is a lyrical redemptive tale of the intertwined lives of Habaneros under difficult conditions.
