Benefit Film Festival
Biofuel Oasis Cooperative
Wednesday April 30, 2008
$10 - $20 sliding scale - 7pm
BioFuel Oasis presents a night of films showcasing the country's fastest growing alternative fuel and the culture that has sprung up around this funky french fried solution. The evening will be educational and entertaining about the uses, history and culture of biodiesel- a renewable, vegetable-based, non-toxic, domestically produced fuel for use in diesel engines with no modification. You don't have to have a biodiesel car to attend- it's even better to walk or bike! This is a fundraiser, $10-$20 sliding scale and kids under 12 free. Think of it as an old-fashioned barn raising for their new biodiesel station on the corner of Ashby and Sacramento Street in Berkeley which aims to be the most sustainable fueling station in the nation!
