Cumbia returns to La Peña with La Cumbia—a monthly celebration of rhythm, movement, and community! Join us at La Peña for a night dedicated to cumbia, community, and collective joy.

DJ Rabeat will bring the sounds of México, Perú, Colombia, and beyond to keep the dance floor moving until midnight. Your ticket includes a beginnner-friendly cumbia dance class to open the night. Learn the basics, connect with the rhythm, and step into the energy of the party.

At La Peña, dance is liberation. La Cumbia creates a space where consent, safety, and respect guide every interaction. We welcome all generations and uplift our LGBTQIA+ community to dance freely and feel at home.

For 50 years, La Peña has been a cultural home in the Bay Area. La Cumbia continues this tradition, celebrating music, movement, and the power of gathering together.
