New Orleans to Bahia – Michaela Harrison in Concert

Michaela Harrison, one of New Orleans’ most beloved vocalists, is having her final concert in the Bay Area before traveling to Bahia, Brazil.

Michaela has curated an outstanding repertoire of original musical compositions, New Orleans standards, and Brazilian favorites.

Presented at La Peña Cultural Center in Berkeley, “Michaela Harrison: Bahia Bound” features cellist/vocalist Monica McIntyre, and guitarist/vocalist Joy Clark from New Orleans, Louisiana. 

For this special performance, Michaela has invited special guests from Brazil to participate: No Balanço de Angola Capoeira group lead by Sergio Bitencourt and Master Brazilian percussionist Marcos Odara.
