Non-profit workshop: Asking with Panache

July 20, 2016 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Event Description:

You’ve identified, researched, and cultivated the donors, now it’s time to ASK! Soliciting the gift is only one part of the major donor relationship building cycle but it can be the most nerve-wracking. Lisa Hoffman will share her expertise in an interactive workshop that gives you the opportunity to role-play various scenarios.
Practical takeaways from this workshop:
1. Strategizing the ask: who, what, when and how
2. Increased confidence via role-playing
3. Effective responses to donor resistance
4. The importance of timely follow-up
5. Key elements of a successful solicitation
