General Information about our space at La Peña

We have three indoor spaces at La Peña: our main theater, the lounge, and the community room. Each space has its own capacity and characteristics that make them suitable for different types of events and special occasions. Please review the information in the tabs above for more details and contact us if you'd like to rent the space!

As part of our mission, La Peña believes it is important to encourage discussion and dialogue to increase understanding among diverse groups and cultures. The use of our space by external groups does not mean La Peña endorses the views or opinions presented by them.

Theater

Main Theater:

This is our biggest space at La Peña, it has a stage, wooden floor, light system, sound system, gallery moulding rails, chairs and round tables available (we have limited tables, please inquire further if your event requires tables). If you rent the theater, you can also have access to the green room backstage.

Maximum Occupancy = 225 standing / 170 seated theater style. Square Feet = 2,000

Lounge

lounge

This is the space between Los Cilantros restaurant and the theater. The space has a small stage and is suitable for poetry readings, solo (2 or 3 person) acoustic presentations, film screenings and community gatherings. The space comes with a six channel sound system and mics. Due to the shared space, there is ambient noise and shared use of the bathrooms.

Maximum Occupancy = 70 people standing / 55 seated theater style. Square Feet = 730
