Now based in Oakland CA, Asheba has been performing at children’s play-spaces, museums, schools, libraries, hospitals, festivals and more for the past twelve years. Asheba is a musical storyteller who specializes in calypso, the musical and folkloric oral tradition of Trinidad, Asheba’s homeland.
