On November 1st, we kicked off a month full of meaningful moments to gather, honor, reflect, and celebrate. Our Día de Muertos ceremony at La Peña was a powerful start—dedicated to the victims of State violence, occupation, and ongoing genocide 🕯️From the beautiful community ofrenda led by Mayra Hernández, to the lively Son Jarocho fandango by María De La Rosa, kids’ arts & crafts, the special menu by Chef Dilsa Lugo of @loscilantros, and the local artisan mercado—each moment was filled with connection and remembrance.🌼 With deep gratitude to all—past and present—who continue to show up and support this work.
