“From California to Chile, from Wallmapu to Palestine” is a collective exhibit that hopes to visibilize the struggle for justice and the beauty of resistance in different corners of the world with photography and art.
The exhibit features photographs from the occupied territories of Palestine, the fight for self-determination in Mapuche territory (Wallmapu), for independence in Catalunya, and the rebellious awakenings of Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.
The exhibit also includes artwork that honors those rising up against the coup in Bolivia and the resistance in Zapatista communities that denounce the violation of human rights in Latin America.
The Opening Reception features speakers sharing a context of what is happening in their territories, poetry and refreshments. Donations collected at the event will support health efforts in Santiago and Wallmapu.
