Our Empowering People of Color Open Mic is going strong!! Join us for this monthly open mic at La Peña that uplifts the experiences and talents of BIPOC, Women, LGBTQAI+ folks, Immigrants / Migrants, and all other voices that have been historically marginalized and under/misrepresented. We want to hear you, support you, and transform the world with you!
FEATURED ARTISTS:
Pablo Quintero is a musician and composer born in Bogotá Colombia. In 2012 he settled in Ecuador, where he began his intercultural exploration of sounds and Latin American identity that influence his musicality to this day.
Aguacero is an artistic and cultural project that focuses on the traditions and creative expressions of Puerto Rican Bomba music and dance. Through their art, Aguacero embodies the life, energy, and continuity of water in nature.
