LOCURA AND DOS BANDOLEROS AT LA PEÑA

ABOUT:
This will be a very special night of live music as LoCura makes it’s long-awaited return to La Peña with their unique sound dubbed Califas Flamenkito. Dos Bandoleros will open the night with their original Rumba Flamenca sound. There will be an open dance floor, with limited first-come-first seats around the edges and rear of the theater. Los Cilantros Restaurant will open for dinner service at 5:30pm, and will have beer, wine and Sangria throughout the night.

With three powerhouse women at the helm, their live shows are a soul-stirring punk-edged party mixing cajon-driven rhythms with mutilingual lyrics that reflect the unique intersection of cultures in the Bay Area.

LoCura has toured the U.S, Canada, Nicaragua, Mexico and Spain playing music festivals and sharing the stage with artists such as Macy Gray, Bombino, La Cuneta Son Machin, Ziggy Marley, Beats Antique, Quetzal, and Nortec Collective. In the California Bay Area they have opened for Ozomatli, Ana Tijoux, Sergio Mendes, Celso Piña, La Santa Cecilia, The Seshen & Bomba Estereo and have sold out The Great American Music Hall &The Independent in San Francisco.

Our restaurant opens at 5:30pm to welcome you into the space for dinner or drinks before the show, and our theater doors will open at 7:30pm to allow you to save your seat and mingle with other guests, and look at our murals.
