El Delfín Mágico de la Amazonía – Magical Realism Storytelling

Verónica Moscoso tells a story inspired by an Amazonian legend. An all-ages event with live drumming and activities.

Join us for a special afternoon celebrating the launch of El Delfín Mágico de la Amazonía (The Magical Dolphin of the Amazon), a bilingual storybook for all ages. This free event is packed with fun for the whole family, featuring a blend of storytelling, activities, and community engagement:

• Enjoy dolphin-shaped cookies that kids can decorate with pink frosting, inspired by the magical dolphins in the story.
• Hear the first public reading of El Delfín Mágico de la Amazonía by author Verónica Moscoso, in both Spanish and English, accompanied by live drumming from acclaimed musician Silvestre Martinez.
• Participate in a free raffle to win book prizes.
• Enter a dolphin drawing contest for a chance to win a prize.
• Attend a short presentation by a biologist about dolphins and marine life conservation.
• Engage in a Q&A session with Verónica Moscoso, a renowned storyteller, author, and documentary filmmaker.
