2 Women / 2 Mothers Show | 7 PM – 8:30 PM
2 original solo performances by Vicki Dello Joio and Merry Ross. In “It’s About Time”, Vicki navigates the challenging end-of-life journey she travels with her mother, while celebrating and exploring the complex dynamics of their relationship. As Vicki transitions from daughter to mothering her own mother, she finds the humor and sorrow in letting go. “Therapy Fund” is a comic and poignant exploration of her relationships with both Merry’s two daughters and her mother and grandmother. It looks at how inter-generational trauma can be addressed and healed, when one is committed to doing it differently and laughing at her own mistakes and foibles along the way.

Making Waves Studios started during COVID as a way to keep moving our bodies and meeting up with our community. Today, they offer online & in-person classes (outdoors & indoors), offer events, create community and make a difference by supporting non-profits making a difference in the world; over $45,000 have been donated since March of 2020.
