The benefits of Mindfulness meditation are numerous and research suggests that it is associated with reduction in stress, improvement in overall health and well-being, decrease in depression and anxiety, improvement in sleep, etc.
Students will leave this workshop with tangible tools to cultivate or deepen their own personal mindfulness practice, and begin to incorporate mindfulness throughout their daily lives.
This workshop will include:
-Guided Meditation
-Mindful movement (e.g. yoga, qigong, Feldenkrais)
-Mindful breathing techniques
-Mindful eating meditation
-Live music
Please wear clothing you are comfortable moving in, and lots of warm layers if you get cold easily. All materials will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own mat and blanket (La Pena has extra mats if you do not have one).

About your instructor, Jordanna Glueckauf:
Jordanna completed her 200-hour teacher training in Raja Yoga with the Niroga Institute, a style of yoga that emphasizes the benefits of meditation for spiritual self-realization and the purposeful evolution of consciousness. Her classes offer a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental environment. Students will be guided through asana (postures), breathing techniques, and meditation designed to rejuvenate mind, body, and spirit. Perfect for students of all levels interested in deepening mind-body awareness.
