El regreso de Las Mermeladas a La Peña!

Remember the music jams? All ages, all instruments, all skill levels, all welcome, all fun! Mark your calendars for another iteration of these legendary music jams at La Peña, led by José Roberto Hernández!

Las mermeladas musicales son un espacio donde la gente y sus instrumentos se juntan para hacer música, comunidad y compañerismo.

Make new friends while enjoying yummy food and drink, free music and dancing, and supporting your local musicians. Los Cilantros and Chef Dilsa Lugo will be serving delicious and authentic Mexican food, aguas frescas, beer and wine all night. Don’t play an instrument? Come and dance or just sit back and enjoy!

• Where: The Café/Lounge of La Peña Cultural Center, 3105 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA
• When: Third Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm (Doors open at 5:30pm)
• Price: FREE! (although donations to the musician’s bucket are always appreciated!)

Useful tips:

• There is free neighborhood street parking, a #18 bus stop directly in front, and Ashby BART 3 blocks away.
• The restaurant opens at 5:30pm. We are expecting a full house so please come early to secure a seat.
