Frank & Pasto Seco – Boleros, Tangos, Swing, Chilean music, and more

Frank is a band born in Concepcion, Chile in 2007, with multiple presentations throughout the country, his recording debut was in 2009, as guests of the record made under the direction of master Marlon Romero.

Led by singer Alejandro Venegas, grown Latin American folk music at a nearby jazz style. Among its varied rhythms found, boleros, tangos, cha cha, salsa, bossanovas, swing, ballads and others.

For our concert, we offer a special show, playing pieces by distinguished Chilean and Latin American composers such as Victor Jara, Violeta Parra, whose art is linked to the message of social justice and peace.

Pasto Seco is a Cumbia band based in Berkeley, CA that bridges the gap between South America and North America. They travel around the San Francisco Bay Area always bringing the dance party with them.
