Celebrate Frida Kahlo’s 110th birthday with a very special performance paying homage to this iconic Mexican artist.

“Frida Kahlo: Tree of Hope” is a mix of Tableau Vivant, known in English as “living picture”, concert, and talk, in which Gloria Arjona and Karin Guerra, address the life and work of this Mexican icon, through her own letters, journal, self-portraits, and the songs she loved.

Make sure to get here early to enjoy Frida Kahlo’s Birthday Tianguis from 4pm-8pm!  A “tianguis” is a traditional open air market and comes from the Nahuatl language of the Aztecs, which means “market”. Frida’s Birthday Tianguis will feature strong womxn artists and artisans!
