La Peña Cultural Center is proud to present a CD launch party for Herencia de los Carrillo featuring Bomba and Plena music and dance performances! Herencia de los Carrillo is a musical project that originates from the Carrillo family history of playing and writing traditional original tunes, focusing on two genres of Puerto Rican folk music: Bomba and Plena. The CD features original songs written by Los Carrillo family members from Monacillo, Puerto Rico.
