By invitation of Vamos Puerto Rico! Eric Leenson traveled to the island November 7 – 13th this year. Eric is coordinator of the project Caribbean North American Laboratory of Social Economy (CANAL). CANAL’s mission is to stimulate a regional approach to the implementation of social economy initiatives through information transfers and transnational collaborative projects.  CANAL includes among its participants, social economy organizations from Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
