Community Archiving Workshop & Radical Book+Poster Sale!

Join us for La Peña’s first Community Archiving Workshop and Radical Book and Poster Sale Fundraiser on May 18, 2pm-6pm!

• Learn about La Peña’s archive and history, and our efforts to preserve it
• Receive training in archiving and cataloging techniques
• Explore the amazing posters and photos in our collection
• Work alongside other volunteers to expand the digital catalog of our archive
• Participate in our Radical Book and Poster Sale Fundraiser, which will include original duplicate posters from our archive!

Who can participate? Everyone is welcome, no experience is necessary! Anyone with an interest in La Peña’s history and an interest in learning and helping us make La Peña’s archive accessible to the world is welcome. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring a laptop computer.
