We are celebrating 44 years of keeping cultures alive through the arts!
From our humble yet revolutionary beginnings as a gathering place in response to the military coup in Chile, our mission continues to be the same: to be a safe space for immigrant and diasporic communities and to support peoples’ movements through the arts!
La Peña Cultural Center relies on the peoples’ generous support to:
- Provide a safe space for immigrant & diasporic communities to gather & build strong communities
- Empower children with culture-based arts education to build a strong sense of cultural identity
- Promote intercultural solidarity through the arts
- Offer scholarships for youth to our Mundos Musicales Summer Camp, a bilingual summer camp exploring Latin American and Caribbean culture through music, dance and art
- Give a stage and a voice to both emerging and professional artists of color
Can we count on your support to continue our mission?

We must raise $60,000 by August 31, 2019. This amount will help us offset the true cost of presenting our events, allowing our programs to remain financially accessible and empowering our communities through an equitable lens!
