From 2006 when Krip-Hop Nation started we knew that the Hip-Hop arena have a far way to go to deal with disabled Hip-Hop arena however we also was hit in the face with a lack of women Hip-Hop artists with disabilities. In the eleven years of Krip-Hop Nation we can only list of women Hip-Hop artists with disabilities on one hand.
Finally Krip-Hop Nation under the leadership of Lisa Ganser and Vita Eya Cleveland will be releasing a CD entitled: Hell Y’all Ain’t Talmbout: A Krip-Hop Anthology of Women, Femmes, and Warriors and at the same time because Krip-Hop Nation realize that locally in the Bay Area there have been beautiful women with disabilities who are artists from poet to music to spiritual leaders to wheelchair dancers to actress plus the recently hot Bay Area rapper, AJ420 who dropped their first album, Different Faces, and oh yes she has cerebral palsy. So as you can see it’s time to celebrate!
