Come support, celebrate, and get inspired by voices of womxn of color at La Peña!
The Empowering Womxn of Color Open Mic Night is back at La Peña for Women’s History Month on Friday, March 10th, 2023! Join us for a night of live music, poetry, spoken word, community, and much more.
This Open Mic event provides a space to celebrate the voices of womxn of color that enact and highlight the beauty of our cultural diversity. We welcome ALL who experience life through the lens of womxn in body, spirit, identity – past, present, future, and fluid. Come support local Bay Area talent or get ready to perform yourself!
This evening will precede the 38th annual Empowering Womxn of Color Conference to be held on Saturday, 11 March 2023 at the International House in Berkeley, CA. Please visit the EWOCC website for more details.
